Yes you're right. I watched the First XV game and while walking to their field, by just looking around the fields were absolutely trashed. Mud and water everywhere. The drainage certainly didn't look intact. Looked as sludgy as a pig pen.Heard the terrace fields coped an absolute beating with some “never will be the same ever again” can anyone confirm? As a TSS old boy myself I remember GT home grounds use to drain very well straight back into the well known Oxley creek.
JJ,I'm guessing there won't be any games at Tennyson next week. Can anyone confirm.

Reserves are always 2nds players or even 16A's players. Are 1st XVs playing with fresh benches or is it still the case that their reserves are 2nds players?
Any news on when @Roman Maivia will return from his knee injury that has kept him out for a while?Hey fellas,
Great to be back on the forum after a bit of time away!
Just a quick one, I've noticed a few changes in GT's front row over the past couple of games, and I was curious to hear your thoughts. Any insight into which way super coach Adrian Thompson is leaning with his selections? Would love to hear some opinions.
Cheers!
Any news of James White coming back into the starting team or even the bench. Wow he was on fire both this weekend and last. Heard he is not to bad at league as well? can anyone confirm?Any news on when @Roman Maivia will return from his knee injury that has kept him out for a while?
Maivia, Hollyman, and Harbottle would make a dominant front row.
G’day Terry,Greetings forum,
are there any results for the 3 way trial between BBC-NC-BGS?
what are the forums thoughts on the games?
Thanks,
Terrance
G'day ForumG’day Terry,
Mate, this was hands down the most exciting result of the weekend, and probably the most surprising too. For a Grammar side that hadn’t notched up a win since 2022 in the GPS comp, to go into what’s arguably their toughest pre-season hit-out and not get absolutely pumped is bloody brilliant. Word around the traps is they were even held up over the line in the dying stages against Nudgee. That’s not just impressive, that’s a statement.
Now I always figured BBC would be one of those teams this year look good on paper, plenty of promise, but never quite firing on all cylinders. You’d expect Nudgee gave them a bit of a reality check, and them to come firing agasint grammar in the second trial. But for BGS to come out and hold BBC to a draw? Mate, I nearly fell off my chair.
There’s something different about Grammar this year. You can tell. There’s been a shift not just in results, but in attitude. Full head change, as they say. They look like a team that actually believes they belong now. They’ve got the hunger.
I know they’ve got young Elijah Breen running around at 15 or 10, hes a real slippery customer, footwork like he's dancing on coals. But I’m wondering, was there anyone else who stood up on the day? Any big forwards laying the platform? Any hard-nosed defenders giving the BBC backs nightmares? Keen to hear if anyone else caught the eye because if Grammar’s got more than just Breen pulling strings, we might be seeing a serious grammar team FINALLY!!!
Cheers, D.B
Is the pope catholic Julie?I'm assuming he'll be starting in the firsts this season?
