New "LIV Style" Global Rugby League

Maybe, I think the novelty would wear off pretty fast though And are these teams going to practice at all or just show up a couple of days before the event? Could be some pretty dire rugby in that case

New "LIV Style" Global Rugby League

People are going to Optus becasue it's The All Blacks vs the Wallabies; NZ vs Australia. It's tribal, it's passionate There is no hook for casual viewers to watch random teams from random places play a game with zero stakes

New "LIV Style" Global Rugby League

Is there actually any appetite for this at all? Rugby has always been more team driven than player driven support wise, and no one cares about these made up teams at all

    2025 Bledisloe Cup Series

Playing isn't the only way to improve, but especially when it comes to playing 10 time in the saddle is crucial as it's not so much about physical development that Hooper and Jorgo had, it's about mental development. And you cant do that anywhere but in a game Yeah I'd be surprised is Donaldson...

    2025 Bledisloe Cup Series

He wasn't poor against Argentina. Backline was as good as it's ever looked early on. They fell apart largely after he went off. He wasn't great vs Georgia but it was a cobbled together B team with no cohesion so that's hardly shocking He hasn't had plenty of opportunities at 10, 4 other players...

    2025 Bledisloe Cup Series

Unless he has been given the opportunity it isn't really fair to just assume this The issue with Noah was that he was given a lot of consistent chances by Schmidt and he never improved. No one is expecting these guys to be world beaters right off the bat, but there really needs to be tangible...

    2025 Bledisloe Cup Series

Yeah the big thing for Donno is consistency, as he has the best natural tools out of any of them And the Force tend to fall off in general by the end of the year, which isn’t shocking considering their travel schedule. It’s hardly just a Donaldson issue

    2025 Bledisloe Cup Series

Excited for Tane, he's got the tools hopefully he can put it all together. Bit weird that Joe seems to have lost all his confidence in Lynagh after sticking with him all Lions series. Maybe Les is a big Edmed fan

Donaldson's not even in the squad is he? I do agree, I prefer Jorgo on the wing to be honest and the way they use their 15 as a playmaker it might suit a player like Donno

    2025 Bledisloe Cup Series

We don't even know when he is going to be healthy to play, just had neck surgery a couple of months ago Due to the whole process being a big of a rigmarole

    2025 Bledisloe Cup Series

Surely he needs to back Lynagh, otherwise why throw him in there vs the Lions?

    2025 Bledisloe Cup Series

I don't think any of the other candidates have shown to be a definitive step down either
