Imagine Scotland in the Rugby Championship

They can be as proud as they want, he’s right. They lost to Italy this year, that nonsense got a Wallabies coach fired I’m sick of the Home nations having this unearned arrogance

Yeah I kind of agree. They lost to South Africa pretty convincingly and people were patting them on the back. We lost to South Africa and Rugby in Australia was dead apparently Just shows the actual expectations of Scotland

    Very debatable

I’m not sure about that. Williams has been Joe’s most selected lock this year

I understand the Carlo one. He’s gotta give him chances as we are one injury away from him starting against the Lions Same logic people had with Kerevi last week

Loose head is far less technical. It's about aggression, use your bind to get under his chest and from there it's easy to put pressure on. Tight head is the anchor, need to ensure the scrum is low so help the hooker, and needs to control the loose head the entire time, normally by bringinng your...

They should really look at developing Blake Schoupp as a tight head. He has the perfect build for it and doesn't have the prior bad coaching so will be able to learn from a clean slate

Not surprising, Tight head is overall a harder position to master

All Blacks & All Blacks XV EOYT 2024

Why is Robertson so hell bent on being sentimental instead of actually developing players that will be available next year?

Yeah I don’t think they are alike at all. McReight is better in the loose and as a support runner, but Tizzano is more your classical on the ball 7 who will put more pressure at the breakdown Don’t get me wrong, I’d have McReight as a better player, but Carlo does have a skill set that may be...

No, you said refs are now physicists who can gauge impact and velocity on the spot and make different decisions based on that Last year it was initial contact, now it’s force. What arbitrary differentiator will they come up with for next year?

In other news, apparently Harry Potter is in line to start on the left wing, and Tizzano might get a recall

How is tackling a halfback considered a clean out? And why would they be judged differently? Is the brain affected more in a tackle situation?

Scotland v Wallabies at Murrayfield 12.40am Mon 25 Nov

Consistency is certainly not impossible, if they actually followed their own rules that they set down “initial contact” was what they kept going on about, yet Kerevis initial contact was shoulder to shoulder yet that equals a red and a ban, yet initial contact to the head of Nic White is not...

I hope they keep him but the quotes sound as if he’s out after the Lions tour

See, I'd argue it's too great a risk to play 3 locks against Scotland considering how fast and good they are at the breakdown

Scotland v Wallabies at Murrayfield 12.40am Mon 25 Nov

In my opinion, yes. Williams is a lock, he's no where near the player in general play as Harry Wilson is I'm not a fan of the constant need for all slightly athletic locks to become flankers

Scotland v Wallabies at Murrayfield 12.40am Mon 25 Nov

Well that's the question, is it worth having maybe a slightly better lineout by having an inferior forward pack around the field

Scotland v Wallabies at Murrayfield 12.40am Mon 25 Nov

Wales losing their best lineout forward early on and becoming a rabble worked well for Australia too Harry Wilson is plenty good enough to be a secondary lineout option, and he offers much more in every other facet of the game then Uru. I'm not a big fan of having to re-jig the entire forward...
