Agreed. Many many more boys will end up in club rugby than go to League. These blokes then go on to become stalwarts of community rugby and keep the spirit of rugby alive and flowing passing down the traditions of the game, coaching, managing, volunteering etc... This is way more important than...

I was there at the '92 match as a young TSC Yr 7 lad. The 92 93 94 clashes and rivalry between the 2 schools were fantastic. Agreed. The Old Hill on Cranbrook Rd was always a sight - with Old Boys from both schools mingling and enjoying the main affair. 90's school boy rugby was pretty cool.

Yeah i dont know why, sometimes less is more and you only faced everyone once so it became like a bigger event and you only hosted everyone every 2 years. I cant comment really on the current format as ive not been to games but i can certainly remember bigger crowds back in the middle 90's years...
