Fair and obvious point Mauler. The system as is could be seen to be encouraging a feeding frenzy with these two hapless clubs.

Given the situation with Reddies and Albury it would be better if for and against points were not used for ladder position calculations this year. It’s promoting a problem.

I don’t know how Bubba but we have to find a way to support Reddies and Steamers to keep them afloat. The competition can’t afford any of the present clubs to fold.

The 15 week (season) suspension is very long penalty Jumper. Could Albury feel the severity of the suspension wasn’t warranted and was the person involved an integral part of the Steamers team.

Given the Blacks performances last year and this season’s draw I thought Griffith might be in Alburys position right now. I don’t understand how Griffith has turned the club around like they have. I’ll probably get shot down for saying this but couldn’t the draw be managed so that Steamers...

You missed the point Mauler. Last year Tumut was a formidable opposition. Griffith and Albury were basket cases. This season Griffith not only travel to Tumut, they also travel to City and Waratahs consecutively. Tough draw for a regrouping club like Blacks in anybody’s language.

Yeah Jumper they did alright. Blacks have a couple of new players who have a good reputation. Some returning players as well. Tough draw coming up. A couple of players playing mungo as well. See how we travel. We’ve got got all the good teams away in a row.

Griffith coach Lama Lolotonga. Anyone else get the feeling the upcoming season could be somewhat predictable. Waratahs have an embarrassment of riches. City a bit behind Tahs and Aggies/Tumut behind City. A gap then to Reddies. Albury and Griffith cellar dwellers.
