I’d agree with you there, Bob, regarding the front row. Talakai and Peniata are clearly the two best props, and when they’re off the field the Waratahs lose almost all of their go-forward, especially if Arama’s off at the same time. The second-half scrum against the Reds a couple of weeks ago...

I think that would be a great idea, a 2nd NSW team. Maybe not run by the Waratahs though, a completely separate and independent team, like a Western Sydney Wanderers. There would be more than a few people at NSWJRU that get their noses out of joint but it would definitely be great for NSW Rugby.

This list from the 2024 U14 team that played in the U15 Next Gen tournament last year would be a good starting point. I know of 2 lads who have changed schools, I'm sure there's more. I'm not sure if this U14 team managed to beat any of the U15 teams but I do know 3 years ago the Under 14 team...
