I agree - watching it live I knew it would be called back and was surprised it took so long to do so. I have absolutely zero doubts that it was forward and was a fair call to rule it so.

It seemed that a fair few of the lads were playing not to get injured ahead of the rest of the tour - some of the defensive commitment was appalling, as were the little contests (eg diving on loose ball).

Noah with another absolutely baffling kick option. Why do we continue to persist with him? He’s useless and has been so for years.

Cross field kick was a strange option lmao

Miles has played well tonight but let’s not get carried away — I still have PSTD after the last season of him being useless.

If this ends 21-17 then just think what could’ve been without Bowens dumb ass

I’m surprised Williams didn’t rule that as a charge down.

Lmao touchie didn’t call the player in touch from that replay? Did the TMO? If so, let’s just get rid of the refs in the field and just have a booming voice from a ref in the sky.

The Waratahs just did that thing again, where they get their hands in front of the Lions’ kick. Should be a red card to the entire back row and the rest of the game to be decided by trial by combat.

Watching with friends and trying to explain the interpretations is so hard. If you’re in a similar situation in the future, don’t even bother explaining the rules to them as they’ll then be more confused when they aren’t enforced as you described them.

Yeah Bowen is seemingly slow, has a bad pass and can’t kick. Great 10.

Rugby truly has a refereeing problem - imagine trying to get a new fan excited by these constant reviews, especially when these types of clean outs happen literally happen hundreds of times a game

That try was Teddy Wilson’s fault. Horrible decision making
