Also saw on Petersham instagram that their captain and #10 Phillips won the Barraclough Medal.

Would this Kentwell Cup season (to date at least) be the most successful by one team? Can't recall too many undefeated Kentwell teams over the years and the scores they're putting on each week are impressive. Even before the comp went amateur there wasn't this level of sustained dominance by one...

Any ideas when the Subbies rep teams/squads will be announced?

Whilst I agree, I think the long-suffering West Harbour will take whatever they can get at this point in time.

You'd imagine that a player from UNSW or Petersham won the Barraclough Medal but these things aren't always the most predictable. I'd imagine there will be a Kentwell Cup luncheon this week or next where the various awards are presented in from of the Div 1 faithful.

It's a very good point as even some of the more established and successful JJC teams in 2025 had issues fielding a full squad during the middle of the year. At times Oatley, UNSW, Lindfield and St Pat's (at least that I'm aware of) all had weekends where they were scraping in a maximum of 10...

Shades of Cam Murray in origin last year (although far less dramatic and a lot slower). A comedy of errors from all involved but agreed the player who had been subbed joining the melee is poor form and a UNSW player should've joined the Briars #8 in the bin.

Div 2 ends with a fairly even premiership spread - 2 UNSW, 1 Petersham, 1 St Pat's and 1 Forest. Always difficult to win multiple premierships in a Division as your depth gets well and truly tested so well done UNSW. Petersham would be ruing the soft red card - was 12-0 at that in their favour...

The double points factor skews the Club Championship a bit this year too but in saying that UNSW had the benefit of not travelling to Camperdown in 2025 and playing for double points at home, which they lost. Either way, both clubs have had a good year in their own right. Neither have really...

Div 5 off to Windsor - McQuade Park. Home Ground advantage for HV in the big one!

Went 7 from 10 in Div 2 last week - missed both the 4th Grade results and foolish of me to doubt UNSW in 1s! Well done to Irish in 1s who gave Petersham a mighty scare. That would've been one of the great boil overs. Grand Final Day at Concord shaping up as another great day. UNSW 4 teams...

I don't think the two JJC finals need to be together. There has been no cross over all year so why start now. My view is that the Hornsby v Norths game be played at Forshaw with Div 3 - that way all Hornsby supporters are in one spot. I don't care for Norths - they'll be fine and hopefully...

Having been on the end of a Colleagues Ladies Day hiding many moons ago I know exactly what you mean! Always a great day and VERY well attended :)

Woollahra #2 on Ladies Day v Colleagues might be the worst possible fixture for a club trying to avoid the wooden spoon!

Have just had a flick through the various social media pages, things get trickier for Irish, UNSW & St Pat's who have JJC semis at Merrylands too on Saturday morning.
