Wallabies v Lions, 19 July Suncorp

Did we get bullied up front? Seems like a some of you watched a different game to me...we did lack a bit of punch with ball in hand (we kind of anticipated that would be an issue without Valetini or gleeson available), but otherwise i thought our pack was pretty competitive, even getting the...

I few post game thoughts: I thought it was a decent effort from our boys...unfortunately we let in a few easy tries which we cant afford to do against a team of this quality. The lose of Valetini was definitely felt in the first half. We chose a mobile pack and i think that paid dividend as...

Wallabies v Lions, 19 July Suncorp

I didn't think gordon had a bad game but watching live i really felt schmidt brought on tate at least 10 minutes too late...there was clearly gaps opening up in the defensive line when we were pressing them in the second half and i think we would have scored earlier if tate was brought in earlier.

Getting pumped for the game. Disappointing that we could've quite get the team out that we would have liked but still a lot of talent in that team. A champion team always beats a team of champions so if the team plays with cohesion we'll give them a run for their money. Let's go boys!

    Wallabies 2025

Well all those people who have been deriding Lolesio all year will now get their wish. I for one think this hurts our prospects of winning the series. In terms of who to add to the squad, I'd much prefer JOC (James O'Connor) over Edmed.

Kind of a shame that Tizano wasn't released to play for the Force

Re TT's scrummaging for the Tahs, it was a bit hard to know what was going on in those scrums. There did seem to be some silly buggers going on and I don't suggest Tupou was entirely innocent, but when the scrum wasn't immediately collapsing it also wasn't going backwards when he was on the...

Wallabies v Fiji, Sunday, 6 July, 1:30pm @ McDonald Jones Stadium, Newcastle

It clearly travelled forward, but that's not the test. Was it clearly forward out of the hands? it was hard to say. That's why they had to look at it 7 or 8 times.

This is my issue with it. Rugby is an inherently messy game. How many times a match would a player kick the ball into a teammate in an offside position in front of them in the ruck, or accidentally make head contact with another player in the ruck. If you take a microscope to every stanza of...

Wallabies v Fiji, Sunday, 6 July, 1:30pm @ McDonald Jones Stadium, Newcastle

I dont feel hard done by if there's a borderline forward pass in the lead up to a try against my team. They occur regularly through out the game. It doesn't change the fact that my team didn't stop them from getting over the line. If you can't say a pass is categorically forward on first glance...

I kind of agree with this. I think Tate is best suited coming on when there's a few more tired legs

Got plenty of thoughts. 1. It never ceases to amaze me at the hubris with which we seem to approach any game where we are favourites on paper...the decision at half time to decline to put the ball into touch when we're 14 nil up and instead attack from our own half was so on brand for our team...

    Waratahs v British & Irish Lions - Saturday, 5 July @ SFS

Well played from the tahs! Really enjoyed the game. Two big take aways for me are: 1. there does seem to be a bit of a gap between the lions best side and the rest and i think (fingers crossed) we should see the same with our best 23 when we see them take the field against them 2. Gamble really...
