I do think Uru is struggling a little. He’s definitely not a lock and might need to get a touch leaner to recapture some of that creativity around the park. Giving away a few penalties that we don’t need.

Not something the Fijians are usually known for. They seem to continue gaining muscle for fun. Could go the other way and he ends up a legitimate beastly Lock.

I think Uru has been immensely disappointing this year. He's not a lock above club level. Does some brilliant stuff but does some very average stuff. He's an impact backrower behind the big three and arguably behind Brial too.
Vest is a 'good squad man' who should only be a 'break glass in case of a major emergency' type player
We desperately need actual locks.

Wales. Was a real pity to lose both him and Blyth at once, I thought we'd be able to hang onto one of them. The lack of salary cap increases in recent years are really starting to bite.

Also so many unknowns about load during the week even though I wouldn't suspect it's that high during this. Save that for pre season. These guys are generally still fit from the season.
The more the young guys/rookies are exposed the more comfortable they'll be. Seemed timid in week 1 with little confidence to have a crack and more worried about stuffing up and losing a shot at a contract but I want to see blokes like Ropata risk it a bit and show us what you have.
