For how little territory they had, the FNP did remarkably well. A few moments and it could have been a history making game - they do something with that Debreczeni intercept before 1/2 time, or avoid that early yellow (which was really soft)...etc

Loved it. The wallabies need to learn from this. A few marginal late hits, sit offside all game because they don't ref it. Play to the whistle. I love how Morgs said this shouldn't happen. These lads shouldn't be in competition with this lions team. It was a dig at the UK press for sure

FNP played well. Swain and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) gave a reminder to Joe of what a difference they could make to the Wallabies.
Gamble had a pretty good game as well I thought. Lots of second efforts, the kind of things that coaches love to see.

I was surprised LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) wasn’t in after the Reds game. Now he’s played on Tuesday, so I wonder if we’ll see him Saturday

I think Debreczeni and Thomas also both deserve some kudos too.
Thomas was extremely disappointing. Some poor decisions and his wind up to pass right to left allows the defence and extra metre or more to advance at our ball receiver. Jack Deb went ok, not great, for the third best No 10 at the Brumbies.

The real star for the FNP side was Charlie Gamble. Won't get him into the Wallabies over McReight and Tizzano, but he can be very satisfied with his performance tonight. WTF is going on with LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto)? He should be atg least on the bench for the tests, but doesn't even make the squad. Joe has a bit to answer for there.

Gotta say it would have been a very interesting if Goddard started. Thomas wasn't giving great delivery
I imagine the plan was to bring him and Debreczeni on at once, obviously that didn't work so well with Daugunu's early concussion. Not sure why they didn't go that way to start though, I though Beale at 15 and Debreczeni at 10 would've been the way to go

Was Devo dangunu (FFS it's Daugunu!) (FFS it's Daugunu!) got concussed. Was looking for a big game from him. He may have been the difference tbh
If he doesn't go down Debreczeni doesn't come on that early and has the effect he did on the game - swings and roundabouts.

Filipo Daugunu

Does anyone know if David Feliuai got injured right on the half time bell from that late tackle? Strange he did not come out for second half after playing so well. Mcleod did well though.
