He's also someone I'd love to see get absolutely poleaxed. Would like Farrell in the 23 for the same reasonI would have picked him. Such a dynamic player.
He's been far too productive and far too likeable to be the tour villain I had him picked as from the outset. He definitely is still awaiting his first welcome to test footy pasting however, and I too would like to see that. Unfortunately, I see a lot of Hooper in him and he'd probably just bounce back up and laugh it off. He's also someone I'd love to see get absolutely poleaxed. He's very dynamic and exciting to watch he still has a couple of brain explosions in him per game, and I just don't think they need to (or will feel the need to) roll the dice on him straight up.Thought Pollock had done enough tbh
When's team named? Tomorrow?
Well yes, but he is a much better 10 than Lolesio or Donaldson right now. Cometh the hour, cometh the man. It is a little earlier than expected but his upside is massive and he is the future. They will protect him as much as possible. Need a big shift from our pack. But say he is destroyed? People will say "Why did we rush the young bloke in"...

His game is more complete than either, both who have been a bit ho hum at the highest level. If you don’t see this then we have been watching a different game. As said, it is early for him but he is surely earmarked as our next 10. I imagine he will play Lolesios role but only better.I fail to see how anyone can come to this conclusion.
Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu played behind the Bok pack. I reckon I would have done alright too.I watched a 22 year old Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu rip us a new one on debut, back the young blood! I suspect he'll probably have a fine starting debut, he'll kick well, make his 1 on 1s, maybe a lapse here and there but I don't see that being any worse than our other options so I'm in.

Agree with your opinion on Lynagh’s game. He is definitely not “much better” than Donaldson and Lolesio. Same, same for mine.I don't think Lynagh's game is more complete right now.
I agree that Lolesio and Donaldson have both been ho hum at test level. It's largely why Lolesio never really nailed down the spot despite being first choice for most of the last 3+ years.
Lynagh has barely played at test level and (I think it is either Strewthcobber or KOB's stat) that he has only passed the ball a handful of times and never in the opposition half. So far there's basically no evidence of him doing anything (good or bad) at test level in his limited appearances.
At Super Rugby level where we've seen them all play a fair bit they look like much of a muchness to me. Lynagh is younger so it's reasonable to assume some development but at this point it's all projection. I don't think it is a reasonable position to think that the Wallabies are in a stronger position this weekend with Lynagh instead of Lolesio or Donaldson. That to me seems like pure hope.
My view on Lynagh is that he probably isn't the future at 10 for the Wallabies (and if he is, it will continue to be rough sledding for the Wallabies). He's too small and isn't a plus athlete so is already at a significant disadvantage to 10s from the other top 10 nations. I have felt the same about Lolesio for the last few years. I don't think any of these guys are good enough to be the long term solution.
Hopefully we will have someone come through in the next couple of years and it will be crystal clear that we've finally got an option that looks like a long term solution at 10 for the Wallabies.
