What do we all think? Could this team go all the way and win the GPS premiership?

Kind Regards,

This is solid but this is a more serious TGS side:

1. Harrison Humphreys
2. Ruben Kruger
3. James Tulikaki
4. Craig Thaggard
5. Rupeni Baravilala (C)
6. Ethan Ramsay
7. Keegan Cook
8. Rhymen Tuligai Tusi
9. Sam Elms
10. Cooper Brown
11. Adam Davis
12. Luke Burrow
13. Petelo Maka
14. Isiah Wuruki
15. Myles Rosemond

Bomb Squad:
16. JP Streicher
17. Arch Campbell
18. Charlie Mclean
19. Ben Walker
20. Tom Hiscock
21. Jack Brown
22. Seth Chapman
23. Matthew Johnston

Great mix of size and speed in the forwards, a solid lineout but a very strong scrum which i don’t know if many teams will be able to beat. A solid backline with the defence of Sam Elms and Luke Burrow, the unpredictability and creativity of Myles, Cooper and Petelo and the speed on the edges of AD and Isiah. The bench has a lot of punch to it and I can see Jack Brown getting consistent minutes to bring flair in attack off the bench. Young seth chapman will be one to watch in the 16s comp, one of the most dangerous backs and a good game manager. The versatility of Matty Johnston will be utilised as well as his experience of the GPS competition. A very strong TGS side this year, one that I think could make the 150 dream come alive.

BBC losing to Nudgee who were missing half their backline is worrying
Agree it looks a little worrying for BBC as they also had a howling wind behind them the whole time. Not sure if they were full strength or not, but they were a big side compared to Nudgee. NC’s ability to hold them them scoreless given the kicking advantage provided by that wind was impressive, particularly in the wet. Nudgee were average in the game/half against BGS however they did pull off most of their forwards and a few backs. To their credit though, BGS definitely look a much better side than last year on the half of footy I watched them play today.

Anyone see any of the GT v TGS game today?
Yes im very intrested to hear what unfolded, cause it was quite a suprise to me when i looked at xplorer, did not see the Terrace boys coming away with the win against, a loaded TGS side but they did!

Was also suprised to see grammar stay with the big dogs, its pretty refreshing to hear that those boys from spring hill didnt just roll over and let BBC and NC put 30 on them. Anything to note on any players on the Light Dark Blue!

TGS vs Terrace was 30 blokes mucking around in the mud, every try except for 1 was scored off mauls. Not a lot of skill more just blokes bashing into each other. Whilst TGS were in control the majority of the game and were held up on the tryline a whopping 5 times, GT still in my opinion played better. GT kicked very well winning field position and they executed their chances; something TGS didn’t. Whilst this game shouldn’t be taken as serious due to the miserable weather and both teams missing players, it’s safe to say the TGS boys need to have a long week of training and soul searching because even BGS would’ve beat them, the way they played today.

Yeah I caught a bit of the first half. Let's just say Eddie Dore won't be a pristine surface any time soon. I'd compare the field to a chocolate pudding. Dennis, Hales, and Clifford's kicking game was the real difference in this one. A good bounce back for GT.
