Someone's angry, you must be Mr Slater, Levis dad I suppose. Do you really believe an ugly big headed fat pig can take Kingsley. Look what Kingsley did to NZ schools these are the best props in the world, Levi or should I say your son has no chance.

"Camping chair" the only thing get folded is Levis rolls because his stink ass is going to be spewing after every scrum. You nudgee tight disrespectful entitled piece of garbage have only ever known imports you are in debt of millions and this is why tss is superior.

The game isn't just a test for those boys tomorrow its a warning to entitled people like you who think nudgee are full of star.

Kingsley will show you what he will do to "Lose weight" Slater tommorow.

I can go all day nutter, keep it coming
Oh mate, you’re chessed big time. Like red faced, vein throbbing, typing with your elbows chessed. You’ve gone from defending Kingsley to writing full Greek tragedy about Levi’s “rolls” and somehow managed to bring up Nudgee’s budget like you’re pitching for Four Corners.

Let’s clear a few things up. No I’m not Levi’s dad but I'm a proud NCOB who backs the boys when they step up against hate, disrespect, and whatever this unhinged essay was supposed to be. You call us entitled? Nah, we just don’t sit quietly when our players cop garbage.

Now onto Kingsley. Look, I get it, you love the bloke. But saying he folded NZ schools doesn’t mean he’s untouchable. Levi’s not some Year 11 hobby prop. He’s a steamroller with a jawline, and tomorrow he’s coming with receipts. That shoulder Kingsley’s banking on? Gonna meet a brick wall of blue and white.

And let’s not pretend TSS isn’t rattled. The whole squad's foaming at the mouth, acting like Nudgee existing is some personal attack. You say the game’s a warning? We agree. It’s a warning that when Nudgee shows up, the talking stops and the scoreboard does the work.

Keep going tuggy. I’ve got snacks and a front row seat to Kingsley’s demise tomorrow

Apologies T.B., seems I've falling victim to mind games on the field here. I'll reload at 10 and strive to be better. As for my new mate touchy tom here, I know we have conflicting views and i think you're an absolute dud of a bloke but let's put this all behind us and keep it strictly on footy. Wouldn't want to waste your last years in a braindead argument so for that I apologize. I vow to keep on track with footy chat. Speaking of, I know its a week out, but any predictions on next weeks trials as they seem to be lining up for some cracker games??
No need for apologies, just be better and learn from it. We all get caught up in the heat sometimes, but what matters is how you move forward. Keep it on the footy, leave the personal digs behind, and we’re good.
As for next week’s trials, yeah, shaping up to be a solid round. Keen to see how the younger blokes step up. Any particular matchups you’ve got your eye on?

Hey mate couldn't agree more with you, I'll be right there in the front row with you. Nudgee are going to dominate not only in the front row but through TSS's lacking backline.

Indeed, Nudgee seem to always put together great teams no matter the talent. What is the key to this? Is it the depth of their program? Or is it pure tikka in the badge.
T.B
Good Morning TB, I beleive Nudgee is a type of school which fosters school culture, over there, Rugby is more than a game to them, its something deeper then a GPS premiership. They have a real passion for the game and its commendbale and apparent with how many prems they have. This is wear other schools tend to lack upon within their culture, Nudgee boys are always getting around touch games every afteroon. They might even be playing while im typing this.

Couldn’t agree more TB!

Nudgee just gets it. Rugby there isn’t just a game, it’s basically a seventh subject. They’re not chasing GPS premierships for the silverware, they’re doing it because it’s in their DNA. It's passion, pride, and pure unfiltered tikka in the badge.

And the culture? Unreal. If have a look at Wilkes oval on any lunchtime, you’ll see Year 7s playing touch like it’s a world cup final and Year 12s barking set plays like they’re mic’d up for Stan Sport. The whole place runs on brotherhood and spirit. What’s the secret to their success? People say it’s the depth of the program. Maybe. But I reckon it’s something deeper. Something sacred. Something forged in the blue and white soil of Ross Oval.

Nudgee doesn’t rebuild. They reload. And even if they had a team full of blokes who couldn’t pass off their left, they’d still find a way to win. Because they’d die before losing a home game in front of 10,000 brothers.

N.K.

Highly agree here mate, Its about time the forum shifted back to good rugby discussions. A shame we have to call in admins for such a matter. On another note, has anyone heard about any standout performances from the 2nd XI - who do you think is knocking at the door for a firsts

Rumour has it Nudgee 2nd xv locks Michael “Beirney” Beirne and James “chops” hannan are looking to dethrone the current twin towers in Jack Burton and Bennet armistead.

Afternoon gentleman, wanted to come on here and talk about BGS rugby how are they looking in the year 2025?
Hi there,

I love that your keen to yarn about some Grammar footy, however I believe they will continue their form from previous years and will not do very well. I just cannot see them placing above 7th this year with the likes of other great forces like BBC and NC in the competition this year.

What does everybody else think?

Yeah on that note ATA,
I think they are back. With several grade 11's playing last year and stepping up, I believe they have scholarship Seth Kennedy - Australian 200 metre champion. In Addition, I think they have acquired premier props such as Jezza "Booster" Boo and Ben "Raggers" Coates. Maybe this could provide the breakout season they desperately need.

I do agree T.B., they have started a rebuild but with their history, their program, and their heavy focus on academics, I can't see them improving much.

Any grade 10/11s to look out for this year in the first 15?

I've heard TSS have a few
Pretty sure a couple of the kids getting a run for Nudgee 1st's this weekend are U16's. Don't know how big a chance any of them are to make the final squad, but it is interesting to see a couple starting tomorrow in the trial against TSS. Happy to be corrected if incorrect, but I'm reasonably sure Billy Spicer & Eli Raulini are still U16.

I think bgs dreadful run will continue, I am backing them in 9th once again.
I do hope they prove me wrong and become somewhat competitive in the GPS competition because at the moment teams just turn up at Northgate and get the 2 points

As for the 200m champ
He won't be touching the ball with that back line so I don't think his speed will matter

Yes THH,
I sometimes wander down to GPS cross country to have a yarn with old mates, and I happened to see Angus "Ang" Watts in the 3rd KM. He was dying, but around 50 BGS boys were running alongside kicking him foward. It was a glorious sight to see as he overtook a terrace rival on heartbreak hill. For this man, he is pure heart and tikka, and is the backbone of the team. I hope to see a standout performance from him this season.
T.B
Hi Tom, funnily enough I was kicking it at the top of Heartbreak Hill with a few old Nudgee mates, having a reminisce of the successful 1999 XC premiership. Great to see some rugby blokes giving it there all in such a challenging sport.

Speaking of Northgate, are the Grammar fields the deadest in the GPS in terms of atmosphere? If you saw the huge hill next to the main field, you would think of the field as a cauldron, but being so far from the field, the voices of the quiet academic scholars do not reach even the sideline. It doesn't help being right next to the airport, as the planes drown out the few cheers.

Also, which ground has the best atmosphere in the GPS? Personally, I would say either NC or GT, or BSHS at the school field.
