The Ruckening

Either way this round is shaping up to be a good tell tale of the rest of season.
If anything, I'm an advocate for poor drainage systems. There's no rugby game like one where Michael Phelps is the fastest on the pitch! Ha! Whichever oval's drainage system is the worst, I'll be there! Full Scrum Ahead!A little birdie told me Hordern Oval has the best drainage system in the east, weather shouldn't be an issue.
yours sincerely,

Absolutely - that cat of a dog should be out all season. But a can of worms - should time out injury be taken into consideration for penalties.
Not entirely sure about that Davo. I definitely don't think Waverley has secured a top 2 spot, more likely they'll fall down to around 3rd or 4th. Though Barker does have a good shot at taking that number 1 spot, it could also be up for grabs by Cranbrook. Knox and Waverley will probably be the ones to battle it out for 3rd and 4th. Trinity's performance really could go either way this year, it's possible they could knock Waverley or Knox out the top 3 but I see that as unlikely. Is it likely that the Cranbrook v Knox game this Saturday will be the decider as to who will take third place in the comp when all is said and done. Assuming that nothing wild happens. It seems that Barker and Waverley will be close for the number 1 spot while Cranbrook and Knox will battle it out for number 3, would I be correct in assuming that? Full Scrum Ahead!
Ok. Good to know, that gives me a better grasp on how it's looking this season, thank you. Full Scrum Ahead! Not entirely sure about that Davo. I reckon Trinity’s win last week has really thrown the comp wide open, now it’s just a matter of who wants to grab the opportunity. Not entirely sure about that Davo. How long is the tackler out for? 6-26 week suspension sounds a bit excessive. Full Scrum Ahead! He will be out a bit longer than the player who tackled him anyway.

I'll be there! Keen to catch up and remember the golden age of CAS footy! Will I be seeing any of my fellow wise forum members at the Cranbrook game this weekend? If so, let’s catch up, first one there buys the pies!
Then why did Elfster say that he will be out "a bit longer than the player who tackled him anyway". How long are we saying "a bit" is? I personally think the suspension should be far less than 26 weeks, that's just me though. Full Scrum Ahead! That's not the suspension, mate, but the injury time for the bloke who got tackled.
Barkers Number 12, gotta be the worst tackle I've seen in many many years. should've sent him for at least this season. Send him to the apple chapel for punishmentAbsolutely - that cat of a dog should be out all season.
Agreed. I remember last year in the 16As game between Barker and Cranbrook, a Barker forward flipped a young Cranbrook player onto his neck in what was a genuinely disgusting act. Incidents like that should never happen in schoolboy footy. Barker really need to take a hard look at their tackle technique and ensure player safety is a top priority. There’s no room for that kind of play in the game.Absolutely - that cat of a dog should be out all season.
Hold on a sec, you've got it back to front. The bloke who made the tackle is the one copping the suspension, and the poor fella who’s out for longer is the one who got tackled. Let’s not get our wires crossed! Then why did Elfster say that he will be out "a bit longer than the player who tackled him anyway". How long are we saying "a bit" is? None of that please, as @scrumbledore said we shouldn't take it that low.Barkers Number 12, gotta be the worst tackle I've seen in many many years. should've sent him for at least this season. Send him to the apple chapel for punishment
Woohoo! GPS better watch their backs, we’re coming for ya, one message at a time! Our CAS 2025 Forum has just reached 1K messages. Let's keep this going guys!
Ok. Got it. Does anyone know they exact length of the suspension? It really shouldn't be near 26 weeks, that's a bit over the top, especially for the one getting tackled.
