Paisami not passing enough isn’t all on him. Pakeho in previous weeks has played like that so it’s a directive from the coaches.

Reds are taking a hit up then trying to start the phases rolling forward. Has been effective against lower ladder sides as they don’t hold out but predictable still. Good sides know what’s coming. Lonergan was flying out of the line every time to pressure the 10s pass and Brums Centres meeting the Reds for a loss or forcing the out ball which looked chaotic.
Reds needed to chip through the line a few times to ask a question of the rush D

Well it wasn't 50 but we still lost. The Reds played much better than I was expecting. Bryant and Brial both took a step forward in their development.

Really interested to see what happens with Brial. Really coming into his own now. 23 now, played in 11 games this year after 6 last year and off contract. Bryant contracted next season for next year and also showing good signs although probably better last season.

Wait and see re Wright? I'd want Brial back if I was the Reds.

Brial's aggressiveness and running mirrors Wilson more than our other backrowers. He's really stepped up this year in Wright and Wilson's absence. I'd suggest he's got that back row spot on the reserve locked down pending what you do with Uru and Wright.

Bryant I thought is more of a Fraser replacement than a 6/8. Still needs time to develop but is looking promising.

Yeah, Bryant is more an openside that can play across the back row.
