Stan Sport already has Champions League right?

Big step towards being the default streaming service for Football fans rather than Paramount or Disney etc.
Yep.

Champions League on Stan.
Premier League on Optus Sports
Matildas/Socceroos, World Cup and A-League on Paramount+
Other womens international leagues on Kayo

It's potentially not great for rugby fans if Stan now has a product they think they can charge more for.
As negative as it sounds if it went up $5 for Stan Sport I would think about canning it.

I don't watch the NZ derbies as is but I like some Club footy... I'd watch the Gem game or just find a stream online of games I want to watch which half my mates that watch Rugby already do. Now the Schools season is starting I tend to watch a fair bit of that and it's for free on Streamer and same time as Club footy so takes that need away..

F1 would be great, the wife would hate it. Currently only watch the highlights on youtube. If Stan got Top14 I'd be over the moon.

I love Stan, the app works so well. Great download function too, whenever I'm about to get on a plane there's always either a UK/7s/Super game available to watch.

20 years ago I was paying $100 a month to watch it. Now it's $35. If it goes up $5 bin 4/5ths of a coffee a month and enjoy the rugby

I feel like we are the cusp of the Sports Streamer Wars. The evil Empire Fox has started to lose the grip on all the content.

Personally I’m not opposed to a model where we end up paying a direct cost per month for the sports we want to watch. I’d much prefer to pay less for Stan Sports per month to just watch the rugby as I have zero interest in the other sports they’ve got and/or are targeting.

I get the logic and it makes sense but our brains are funny about things. How often do you look at an app that costs $1.99 and scoff at the idea but in reality it's only $1.99.

I just have too many tbh and that's a me problem but streaming pecking order in my house has YouTube - Disney - Spotify - Netflix - Stan. Think I'm the only one that watches Stan as well and I know I could stream it. I just don't follow the other sports so any rise can tilt me.

Puts pressure on how much kayo is starting to cost. No, espn deffs hurts. Still has the big 3: cricket, afl and nrl though.

They are still showing ESPN though at the moment - does anyone know when that contract runs out? I imagine it'll stay on the service until that deal is done.

Fox may also be allowed to re-negotiate that contract and keep those services if ESPN think it is worthwhile.

I just turn Stan Sport off over the summer, and keep Stan all year round...

It still has one of the better film catalogues of all the subscription services, and a good kids' selection.

And it's still probably the best user friendly streaming site to be able to navigate and search through...

I can't tell you how much I hate browsing through Prime.
