Super Rugby 2025 NZ/ Drua/ Moana matches

Dismal Pillock

13-13@HT, heroic effort from the bumbling cellar dweller Blues to keep in touch on the scoreboard with a proper playoff-bound rugby team.

Clarke, Tele'a, Naholo and Love may as well be watching on the sidelines. All that strike power and barely a chance between them in the first 40.

The way God intended.

Getting that try at the end would've been funny though. All the Hurricanes attacking razzmatazz only to go into halftime trailing a team that's the equivalent of hurling a pile of concrete cinder blocks through a window.

Once again, the Blues are a much better team with Barrett at 10. What they have been missing when they play Plummer .

They talked about returning to last years basics and they uniformly performed well last year when down to 14.

Many such cases.

Honestly, just start the remaining games with 14 on the field.

Looks like Vern has found the misplaced keys to the Killdozer, so she should get a good run out on a nice sunny afternoon to utterly ruin everyone's enjoyment of Moana's freewheeling jailbreak rugby.

Blues will be needing a BP win, I feel.

Currently 2-5 with 11 points & will likely need to be at least 6-8 with 30 to make the playoffs.

Three home games plus Moana at Albany which may as well be home & three proper away games in Christchurch, Brisbane & Suva.

Of their remaining six opponents only Drua are currently ranked below them & three are currently top-four.

I'm struggling to see where the minimum four wins & probably necessary BPs are coming from.

The five Moana, Drua, Force, and Waratahs matches are all eminently winnable.

And one of those top four opponents is the Force (4-4), who are likely there on account of playing one more game than the Brumbies (4-3). That game is also at Eden Park.
