I would just like to tell everyone that this was a tremendous event held in Sydney at Eastwoods T.G Millner field.
I was lucky enough to play for the Marauder Vets of White Hart Marauders fame. To play along side some of these players was an honour, with the likes of Dereck Eves ( played 92 games for Bristol) as captain, Jason Ashcroft, Stuart Chant, Alan Evans ( all Gloucester players) .we even managed to score David Knox for 2 games and he was sent off in the final for backchat.
We ended up losing the final to the British Army , but like i said we had a red card handed out and another player yellow carded. To go down in the last minute was a tribute to the players . We had a hand on that gold medal but silver is quite rewarding.
Looks like im off to Rome and Dubai next year with them.
