Excuse my ignorance, but who plays for Ireland's rugby team? Is it everyone from the Island of Ireland or just those from the Republic of Ireland, and if so where do the Northern Irish play?

Both North and South which is why you hear two antherms: Ireland's Call and Amhrán na bhFiann (The Soliders Song) at games in the Republic. In away games, you only hear Ireland's Call. Amhrán na bhFiann is the Republic of Ireland's national anthem. You can spot the Ulster unionist boys in the Irish team because they don't sing the Republican anthem. In their hearts they are humming God Save The Queen.
