I think the only blokes who can say they deserve their positions include:

1. Robinson
2. TPN

Backrow: Smith somewhere, Rocky..but was shithouse last night.

13. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)

I reckon you could change the rest with random Aussie S14 players in their correct positions and not get a reduced performance based on the shite served up last night.

I think you could say that Genia also deserves his position. Played pretty well behind a well beaten pack. He seems much sharper than Burgess.

I think there are a couple of guys that if fit would be there - Mortlock (13), Ioane (wing)

Also Giteau should be at 12.

One of the concerns for OZ is there is little competition for spots particularly at lock and loosies. There are young guys that are eager as, but where are the old heads to learn off and keep honest.

It still would has been nice to see Burgess get a run on Saturday for the last 20 minutes, at least he would up the enthusiasm in defence.

But so would have Mumm

James O'Connor is on $600K a year. That was a good move !!
He may be a pretty good 12 when he is about 24

Reminds me of a discussion I had one winters day at Christchurch Airport at about 4 am with Ray Price and Paul Dalton and we were discussing the no10 options available and Nathan Spooner came up - to which Dalton replied - "great player - wrap him up in cotton wool for about 10 years then let him out".
ahem, ditto for O'Connor I feel.
