No more "Festival of the Hate".

It's more about the rugby now. Focus on the teams, game plans and players. Not posters.

Likely teams lads?

You would think the only change Hickey would entertain is Robinson for Kepu. Other than that I can't see any reason to alter a winning formula.

I also think the Reds will be unchanged. Chambers and Houston look shaky but didn't play badly enough to warrant sacking after round 1.

The Reds will put Big Kev back into lock and have Higgers back starting at 6. These will be the only changes made.

Reg, why not a Tah's logo on the title as it is there home game?

Reds to roll out the big pack again. Where is Samo at with injury. He might be the big six option this wee with Simmons and Horwill at lock. Higgers may start at number eight. Holmes, Fainga'a and Slipper in the front row. Would like to see Robinson start Unchanged in the backs.

Reds to be much smarter this week.

I don't think we'll see many changes in either team I think Horwill start at 6 again & maybe Higginbotham will come in for Houston, not heard of any injuries for the Reds or Tahs.

I expect a better showing from the Reds backline this week with a night game & cooler conditions & hopefully last week was just one of those days for Will Chambers who had a shocker in attack & defence.

Quirk couldn't stay, he was busy, but did little of note - the Reds need a fetcher to get in there

Maybe Liam Gill could come in as a bolter he's very quick & a noted fetcher. Link may have seen how well Robbie Coleman went & give Gill a shot this week.

If they insist on Quirk or Schatz at 7, then they need a more mobile backrow than Horwill + Houston. They could get away with, maybe, Quirk, Schatz and Higgenbottham, but still, I think that a lack of a fetcher will hurt them. S. Fainga'a can fill part of a fetcher's role, but is a little slow to the ruck and is a little let down by his technique.

I doubt Samo will be seen for this game as well. I'd prefer to have Horwill plus either Simmons or Humphries at lock, with the other on the bench. Whatever Link does, I think that the massive backrow without a real fetcher is a huge mistake. Braid is a huge, huge loss.

I'd also leave the backline unchanged, giving Chambers another chance.

I have only seen the game live at the ground but will look at the replay. From where I sat Quirk have a good solid game and never stopped trying.
He will start next week.

Cant see too many changes to the squad, if any. Dropping anyone after one round would be a bit harsh.

It will be interesting to see who is selected to run on at openside though. I agree with BG, give Robinson a run against his old side, he wont need much motivating to get stuck into them. Swap him and Quirk, Horwill to 5, Higgers to 6, and Van to the bench.

He was a step or two behind the Force backrow for most of the game

You might be right but I doubt it. Near the end of the game, the cameras panned across to Ewan McKenzie. He was absolutely filthy, someone was going to get a huge bollocking as soon as he got back to the rooms. They'll probably need to do another repaint on the walls.

Based solely on last weeks respective performances, the reds will get flogged.

but i rekkon they will anyway.

Yeh I think I would give Chambers another go too.

Unfortunately most of the Reds problems stem from Quade Cooper. Some poor decision making yesterday and seems to be playing full back way too much instead of flyhalf! He may as well be wearing the number 15 jersey when the Reds are on the back foot.
