The Tahs play the Saders on Saturday, 21 March at the Olympic Stadium/Stadium Australia/Telstra Stadium/ANZ Stadium, whatever that bloody thing at Homebush is called. Our Dear Leader and Founder, Scarfie, has called a meeting of the TYS faithful for that night. Could all Sydneysiders put the date in their diaries for a meeting of The Yellow Scarf Alcoholics Club. Interstate and overseas visitors welcome.

The bar under the Novotel near the stadium is (loosely) termed "Homebush Bay Brewery"; there's no beer brewed here but there are some James Squire beers on tap.

Yellow scarves compulsory; if you haven't got one you've got four weeks to get one.

I don't remember calling a meeting? Ah, the belgian ale! Of course, now I remember.

OK, TYS Special General Meeting will be held in the bar under the Novotel on Sat 21 Mar before and after the game. I feel more inclined to relax the dress code, though, Lindo.

Ha-ha, it's NOT the Saturday I thouight I was away, so I'm in.
Relaxed dress code? So no need to break out the tuxedo?

Ah shit, that'd be right. I'll be at a bucks party on that day.

March isn't scarf weather.

I'd go the tuxedo t-shirt option.

I made it to the drinks with HGs & Macka didn't I ?

I am very keen to sort out the Scarf Lightweight bridgade, and the Crusaders would be a cracking game to go to.

Well that counts me out.... Wouldn't be seen dead, people would mistake me for a Cannes supporter.

Was serriously looking at going to that game as well, couldn't go to the Cannberra game because of a weekend implementation here in Brisbane. It's last year all over again... was in Canberra when they had the AB test here.

I think I might be able to pencil in something around this time. That stadium is going to look and feel bloody desolate when only 20,000 turn up though...

Im hoping to get to most of the SFS games and also the Brumbies game but dont think I will be heading to Homebush. Partly principal and partly not paying for tickets.... geez im starting to sound like NTA

I'm just returning this thread to the top. I'm in, I'll buy the first round, so get there early.

Ah, a mate has invited a big crowd to watch it on his new plasma TV. One of life's hard decisions, but sadly have already committed. Surely we can also sort something out when we take on the banjo players?

Surely you want to boycott this game? If they get a decent crowd at Telstra Stadium its only going to mean more games there. Is that what you want?

OK, I've just decided to boycott this game. This decision coincides with my wife pointing her finger at our diary in which I have already committed to attend a 40th birthday party on that night.

Very sorry to disappoint, Lindo.

Party on without me, of course, but how about the Reds game next Friday (6 March)? Anyone on for that?

6th March - hmmm, let me see, rings a bell...
Ah yes, 10th wedding anniversary. I think I might be out for that one.

Booked the theater a while back. What a tosser, should have checked the calendar first. Not that I don't like the theater, I just like rugby a vast amount more.

I'll be at SFS for the Bulls game so if anyone has a thirst to quench on the night let me know and we can meet up for a couple of beers and call one another names in public.

Birthday parties, anniversaries, the theatre. We're a hardass lot, aren't we? You wouldn't catch Musslander missing a Crusaders game for anything trivial like a wedding or a funeral.
