Good to see Gamble and Sinclair taking a leaf out of O'Connor's book and copyrighting their brand

If NSW Rugby and Sydney Rugby Union want to be smart about it, they should make JAS sign for the two blues...
I would bet every dollar i have that he wont be at parra. as much as tahs say they want to support western sydney with the amount of talent. they arent letting him go there. hes a eastwood junior, but his younger brother plays two blues juniors currently and i heard him talk on a podcast he wants to help rugby in western sydney - but it wont happen. too protected.

Tbf he’s an Eastwood junior rep as well and would be a nice listing for them.

Young group of Tahs overall. Really want Talataina to break through. Genuine 8s are rare at the moment.

Walton getting the frequent flyer up this off season.

Wonder how much the new side of jersey sponsorship cost? Good to see more coming on board. You'd think 2025 would be peak sponno year with the Lions plus a half decent team.

Had a mate from the UK at the game who sent a message with a bit of details. He said the Tahs 8 (Talaitana) and 11 (Saunders) looked really good for guys straight out of U20s and both carried exceptionally well. The second row of Sinclair and Lee Warner showed their experience in leading the team around despite the set piece from both teams being inconsistent. Said both Wilson and Grant looked really good at 9, Bowen very up and down at 10, and Walton best back on the park and just ran straight and hard. Also said Doyle started at No.6 played 70 mins and just hit rucks and made tackles all day. Good signs for a 19 year old. Adamson off the bench was very good as well. He said it was far from Kubota’s top team but they were expected to do better.

Thanks CR. With the Wallabies away and some on the injured list that was essentially the Tahs 2nd XV, so great to see some depth emerging. Good to see some back row potential coming along as losing Hanigan, Holloway and Swinton all at once leaves a bit of a gap for tall back rowers.
