Waratahs 2023

Jason Gilmore said in a podcast (might have been pick and drive I can't remember) that ideally Jorgensen and Bowen would be able to do a job in an injury emergency but ideally they don't play this year.

All about availability.

Beale was keen to come back with a significant paycut to try and make the RWC squad. On paper it was a pretty good signing.

He's obviously stuffed that up as well as the Waratahs, Rugby Australia and everyone that has anything to do with him.
Beale…. What about his wife… he’s a complete an utter dope… as you said Braveheart, he’s shown the Waratahs and Australian rugby what a waste of money it was bringing him back… ask Ewen McKenzie what he thinks of Beale!

Let's give the bloke some space. I'm with you on where my prejudice suspects it's going. But for now some space.

On Ticketek that’s all it’s allowing you to select.

I’m assuming the top levels aren’t open and it’s just the bottom bowl? Could they fill it? Doubt it

As usual, prices don't really seem to reflect demand.

I'm going to this one because I want to see the new stadium. But seriously, $65 for a sideline seat just to watch the Tahs suck giant balls (they always suck giant balls when I attend)? Just doesnt stack up.

$65 is the best ticket category.

Members get tickets for just under $60 per game for that category of ticket.

You can buy a general admission ticket for $25.

I don't think you get a dramatically bigger crowd by making tickets range from $15 - $50 for example. You just lose a bunch of revenue.

I believe it will on BarTV.

Looks like it is pay per view and the cost is $6.95. Not sure if there will be any free option through the Brumbies or Waratahs website.

It is a lot at the end of the night though when Merivale get their filthy claws into you. God forbid you drive to the game and park for more than a GA ticket.

Just do what we use to when I was younger and buy a GA and just walk to other seats. Not enough people to bother anyone.

I think the new stadium will account for 10-20% of people that go. If they can nab a win it could do wonders

Going out is expensive.

If I go out for dinner and drinks I spend plenty and that doesn't include any entertainment. Tickets to pretty much any other sport or entertainment type are also expensive.

I agree with the GA ticket option if you're worried about price. It's almost certain you'll be able to move to somewhere a bit better.

I'm looking Waratahs jerseys at good prices from previous seasons
I’ve bought other stuff from here.

I think Perese probably, but I imagine Foketi would've been rested regardless given he played through the wallabies season

^^^

“Wallabies Michael Hooper, Jake Gordon, Jed Holloway, Izzy Perese, Foketi, Dave Porecki, Angus Bell, Nawaqanitawase and Harry Johnson-Holmes were not considered for the first trial. All bar Johnson-Holmes are expected to be available for the first round of Super Rugby.”

From SMH article.
That’s amazing on the injury front
