Dan Herbert was the better centre but doesn't fit into the arbitrary timing of 'the decade'. Makes this entire exercise utterly pointless really.

harsh naza. gotta put the bookends somewhere. alternative being best wallaby outside center during the peak career of herbert?

not detecting your usual bit of sarcasm/wit in this one or i wouldn't have said anything.

What are the chances of anyone that started playing after 2003 getting into this team?

Unlikely to have more than 1 or 2 I'd say.

Kefu was a bit lazier than Palu is now, but he was more dynamic and skilled rather than just brute force (though he had the ability when called on).

Kefu has played well against the All Blacks though unlike Palu

Like 10 & 9 there is no competition. (Mortlock) daylight

I don't know; I think that may be a bit disprectful to Herbert. Mortlock may be the better of the two, but Herbert is head and shoulders above any other 13 we have in Australia right now.

I would say, Mortlock, then Herbert a bit way back, then daylight.
