Videos - Highlight packages

Hi. Im new on this blog. I want to know how do you guys at greenandgoldrugby get that cool highlight package of a certain player? For example the one on cooper against the sharks on youtube? The video is like 5mins and contains everything that a certain player player did for the whole match.

I would love to be able to watch these type of highlight packages. It would be nice to see why some people rave about certain players.

In the meantime, can I put in a request for an end-of-season super rugby highlights package of George Smith. I reckon trawling through 10 seasons of super rugby tapes wouldn't take more than 2 weeks, full-time. But c'mon! We need to honour this legend!

I'd like an end of season highlights package of Quade Cooper. He has pulled off some of the most freakish things consistently this year, and depending on what happens in court, it may well be the last we see him in Oz.

Welcome to the site.
First we have to get a copy of the game, sometimes we can download this, other times we need to digitise it from the source. Then we make notes while re-watching the enitre game, then go back and cut out the bits we want for a highlights package. Sometimes we'll slow bits down and put Chariots to the music. It's a lot of work, and good to hear it's appreciated.

So the coverage is good up there then Biffo? Is it DSTV?

The range of channels I can access depends on just where I am. In most places I go I can get all of a combination of the Saffa service (all channels), EuroSport, Australia Network and Star. The last gives quite some coverage of the Asian 5N.

I'd love to, Mate, but can't. I am nominally a permanent resident of Japan but I get there very rarely. I am too busy working in South East Asia.

I might do some reviews of the Asian 5N from my Star watching. It's not great standard but there are some very interesting games and fascinating characters.
