Welcome fellas

Feel free to post anything related to U15 Schoolboy rugby in GPS, CAS, or ISA

This list from the 2024 U14 team that played in the U15 Next Gen tournament last year would be a good starting point. I know of 2 lads who have changed schools, I'm sure there's more.
I'm not sure if this U14 team managed to beat any of the U15 teams but I do know 3 years ago the Under 14 team went through undefeated, first and only time that has happened.

The u14 team didn’t win any games last year however, some games were close. Some real talent in that side but none made 15 Waratahs

CAS 15A's results last week:

Waverley 37 beat Trinity 19
Knox 45 beat Barker 15
Cranbrook 26 beat Aloys 0

Based on that, 15s table after rd 1 looks like this on +/-

Knox
Cranbrook
Waverley
Trinity
Aloys
Barker

Very interesting. Joeys 15A/B beat Barker 15 A/B about 60-12. The game was played in thirds, As, then Bs, then mixed. The first 20 minute third, the score was bout 3 tries to 1 (joeys). Then, the Joeys 15As beat Knox by about 50. Looking from these results, you would think Barker would've beat Knox.

Hi all,

Just a little introduction to myself as I am new in the forum. Hopefully I can provide some insight.

As a 56 year old man with kids and wife at home, I love leaving them for a weekend and drive into the city to watch schoolboy U15.
I love kids and watching them have a crack.

Cheers,

SDORE

Apparently Joeys put a score of 91-0 on Newington and Waverley went 55-5 on Aloys.

Its a pity Joeys and Waverley won't play each other, they had their chance but Joeys played Trinity for a 14 all draw instead and that day Waverley put 66-0 on Oakhill.

I suspect that is an error because the St Stanislaus website shows their 15A team playing Riverview15B and their 15B team playing Shore 15B at Northbridge. So I suspect Shore 15A play Newington 15A, Shore 15B vs St Stanislaus 15B and Shore 15C vs Sydney Grammar 15A.

Looks like Newington need to do some heavy recruiting for this age group in the next 1-2 years if they want to be competitive in Opens.

93-7. Quite the performance from Joeys. Could have easily been 100+, if all the kicks were made. Maybe next year Joeys Waverley...

Don't know if it would make much of a difference.
Heard that in a trial a few weeks back, the 15As New team beat Cranbrook, first win a very long time for this group.
Speaking of which Cranbrook play Waverley this week... potential to get very ugly.

Not suggesting a result turnaround but possibly not as one sided. If you have 5 or 6 kids out from each side it ls going to hurt most teams at that age. I'm not sure how many are missing though. I have been told that there are some positive expectations about the 13s and 14 age groups. 15s is not a strong cohort I'm led to believe.
