Thought maybe a thread where we can post pictures/videos/articles/stories of times of rugby union past...



The John Eales kick, if their is any day which i can identify where i fell in love with the Wallabies and stopped following the Broncos, this would be it.

Great moment, still remember where I was.
But he was wrong about one thing. Had he missed that kick people wouldn't have remembered him as 'the bloke who missed that kick', but as 'the bloke who won us two world cups and a lions series'.

TOCC, that whole series was certainly a great advert for the game wasn't it.

Though I got to say don't know when I fell in love with game, I can't actually remember a time I didn't think it was greatest thing ever!! Though to be fair there are times like the 2001 series, or watching a particularly good test or even a couple of great moves when I have just shaken my head and wondered why everyone doesn't see the beauty of the game

Reds v Blues 2011 semi(?) final had some the most jaw dropping rugby I've ever seen.
