What is it with hookers and kids and driveways?

I am deeply sorry to hear this news, I hope something can be done to save the kid. :(

I bet he was driving some great big bloody 4WD, those fucking things should be banned from the city.

While a tragedy I really don't think those comments are appropriate at this time.

Maybe not, but it has to be questioned why these kind of tragedies keep happening; and it ain't the kids fault.

Let's keep the politics of 4WD out of this. Doesn't matter, debate can be saved for a later time.

Thoughts with Canno and family.

From news.com.au

Cannon ran over his son, Samuel, while reversing his four-wheel-drive at their Brisbane home, fracturing both his legs and causing internal injuries. Samuel was in a critical condition in hospital last night.

I don't think such an important issue about the safety of kids at home should be ignored.

Hope his kiddy gets through it, and my thoughts are with him and his family.
While I too question the place of large 4WDs in urban areas, here and now is not the place to have the debate.

Canno's a good mate of mine. They are an awesome family.

The next 24 hours are the critical ones. Regardless of how it happened, it was an accident and devastating for all.

If it's any positive at all I don't know, but I was indirectly close to what happened to Kearnsy's child years back and fortunately the early prognosis there turned out to be much worse than the good revival for the child that ultimately occurred.

It really could happen to anyone. The fact it was a 4WD is entirely irrelevant, any car would have done the same thing to a child.

Hope the kid, and the rest of the family for that matter, pull through this.

Take it somewhere else reddy, you have no idea what he owns 4WD for

Apparently the child has stabilized and will be brought out of the coma soon

Best wishes to Brendan and his family. Brendan is a friendly, nice guy and deserves all the luck he and his family can get to pull them through this.
