My favourite is the 2016 jersey. I like it when they add little white details like 1997, 1999 and 2003 jerseys

Unsure what it was about the early 2010s that convinced kit manufacturers everywhere that unnecessary contrast piping was a mandatory feature needed in every jersey.

Newer jerseys > older jersey by virtue of no unnecessary piping or asymmetrical added contrast panel.

The one worn at 2003 RWC was better than all of them!
Cotton, white collared, Canterbury top which still looks like new and fits all body shapes.
Doesn't have the appearance of a Soccer top.
