you mean this one?
because, as my stats say we have beaten SAF teams almost 2/3rds of the time we've played them.when you say "us" you mean NZ teams right?
Cause, historically, when the Reds have played South African teams we've won almost 2/3rds of the time.

That will help them no end.
PaarlBok said:Boet ja, but there are supporters like GMan that lives in Bobbejaansberg and still support their team and go every weekend to go watch them, we got two current Lion S14 players dads on the Protea forum , if you think they cant add value here, go live in lululand. Much better to get their view about their matters then getting the views about their game from SA Expats that have blue blood and think they know everything about Lions rugby.Biffo said:PaarlBok said:I'll get some serious Lions supporters over here to explain the Lion situation.
Don't waste space in this forum, PB. We don't need any type of Lions supporter to tell us that the Lions are shit.
I know you dont want them here but nevermind. :nta:

Ash said:The question is, can the Lions improve the way the Bulls did? The Lions have problems that the Bulls didn't have. So can they be fixed? Will the Lions be competitive, as in not in the bottom 3, within the next 10+ years?
Serious questions, because right now I can't see how the Lions can be competitive within that time frame.
Myself feel your chopping will do more damage to them, they keep on doing that and they'll do fine if they can start building for the future.Blue said:PaarlBok said:Boet ja, but there are supporters like GMan that lives in Bobbejaansberg and still support their team and go every weekend to go watch them, we got two current Lion S14 players dads on the Protea forum , if you think they cant add value here, go live in lululand. JOHN Mitchell is in negotiations with the Lions, and the South African rugby franchise is pushing for the Western Force to release the coach from contract as soon as possible.
A top Lions source confirmed the Johannesburg-based Super 14 side had been quietly negotiating with Mitchell during the Force's three-week trip to South Africa.
Plans have been hatched to fire the incumbent coach, Dick Muir, who had failed to win a single Super 14 game going into the final round yesterday, with the team firmly anchored to the bottom of the ladder.
But firing Muir could be tricky, as he is in the first year of a three-year contract. The Lions have been looking at possible means - performance-related and other - to offload Muir.
The man they desperately want to replace him is Mitchell, whose previous high-profile job was coach of the All Blacks.
"We are expecting a coaching position to become available. We have a high regard for John, who has a magnificent track record, and would like him to fill that post," the Lions' source said.
In his fifth season of coaching the Force, Mitchell announced earlier this year that he would not be seeking a renewal of his contract next year.
If he wants to leave, the Force may be open to releasing him as his departure would free up funds to appoint a top-quality successor.
The Lions' source said the franchise was eager to negotiate with the Force.
Ideally they would like Mitchell to be appointed in time for the start of South Africa's domestic competition, the Currie Cup, next month.
"We are working through all available dynamics and will not hesitate to appoint him if we agree terms and the Force make him available," the Lions' source said.
Coach John Mitchell has dismissed rumours he is set to leave the Western Force to guide struggling South African team the Lions for the 2011 Super 15 rugby season.
Mitchell confirmed that he will coach the Force next season before stepping aside but revealed he is in talks with the Lions to take up a consultancy role for their domestic Currie Cup season, which runs from July to October.
The Johannesburg-based Lions failed to win a game in the 2010 Super 14 season and their coach Dick Muir is under the pump to keep his job after just one year at the franchise.
But Mitchell said he wouldn't even consider coaching a rival Super 14 franchise next season.
"I'm here right until the end of my contract so I'll be coaching the Western Force next year," Mitchell said.
"There has been discussions in coaching Currie Cup only between now and next Super 14.
"That's only been discussions, there's been no decision made.
"I'm entitled to annual leave, I've got quite a bit up my sleeve.
"I can still fulfill my duties here.
"In the last five years I do very little at this time of year except plan and reflect.
"So I think it's important I continue to coach, especially going into a longer competition next year.
"It allows me to learn off another country during that period. There's a lot of advantages."
The Force were plagued by injuries this year and finished a disappointing 13th with just four wins to their name.
Well from my Lion pals , this Mitchell one is a foregone conclusion and came from a long time. You can bet your house on it.Lindommer said:In the famous words of Mandy Rice-Davies: "Well, he would say that, wouldn't he?".
