I don't really mind if the points table on superxv.com isn't 100% up to date, the guy(s) who compile it have to sleep some time, but it pisses me off no end when it's wrong: they've got the Brumbies 2nd on 6 points & the Stormers 3rd on 8. WTF.

They've also got the Horrorcanes leading the whole thing, which we all know is just wrong in every possible way, an insult to the very laws of nature that will no doubt be corrected soon if not sooner ( :) sorry @Dan54, I just couldn't resist....), and may in fact already have been as the website states that:

"In the event of two or more teams being equal on competition points for any position on either the Conference or Super Rugby Standings tables, either during or at the end of the season, such position will be decided upon using the following steps until the tie is broken:
(a) Most wins from all matches;
(b) Highest aggregate points difference from all matches;
(c) Most tries from all matches;
(d) Highest aggregate difference of total tries for versus tries scored against from all matches;
(e) Coin toss."

On that basis, aren't the Stormers (2 wins, PD +23) 1st, Hurricanes (2,wins, PD +18) 2nd & Brumbies 3rd on 6 points?

PlanetRugby.com is no help, they've got Hurricanes 1st & Chiefs 3rd FFS.

ESPNScrum.com even less-so, table not updated AND makes reference to the 4-point bye that no longer exists. Foxsports.com doesn't even appear to HAVE a points table.

Old faithful stuff.co.nz has conference tables but no overall one.

Anyone out there got an accurate table?

Anyone out there got an accurate table?

Here ya go mate, this one looks pretty accurate.

Blues set to pounce on leaders, Cantabs mired in relegation zone, sounds about right to me

really though, I gave up on the actual S15 site table last year, what with all the byes and separate conferences, theres no real way to gauge who stands where until about the last bloody weekend! Besides they seem to have some sort of computing glitch that won't let the Auckland Blues enter the top 6, they should really get that horrid oversight seen to

As at end of round 10 the table looks like this with not all teams have played the same number of games. Orange teams have a game in hand and possibly another 1, 2, 4 or 5 competition points.

Finalists
1. Hurricanes P8 W7 L1 D0 BP5 33 pts (NZL Conf)
2. Bulls P9 W6 L3 D0 BP4 28 pts (SAF Conf)
3. Brumbies P9 W5 L4 D0 BP6 26 pts (AUS Conf)
4. Chiefs P9 W7 L2 D0 BP4 32 pts (WC1)
5. Highlanders P8 W6 L2 D0 BP4 28 pts (WC2)
6. Stormers P9 W6 L3 D0 BP2 26 pts (WC3)

Possible Finalist
7. Waratahs P8 W5 L3 D0 BP3 23 pts

Thanks for coming
8. Lions P9 W5 L3 D0 BP1 21 pts
9. Sharks P10 W4 L6 D0 BP5 21 pts
10. Crusaders P9 W4 L5 D0 BP4 20 pts
11. Rebels P8 W4 L4 D0 BP3 19 pts
12. Cheetahs P9 W3 L6 D0 BP2 14 pts

Wooden Spoon Contenders
13. Blues P9 W1 L8 D0 BP7 11 pts
14. Reds P9 W2 L7 D0 BP3 11 Pts
15. Force P9 W1 L8 D0 BP5 9 pts

I reckon the finals will be 3 Kiwi teams (Highlanders, Hurricanes, Chiefs), 2 Aussie Teams (Pony & Tahs) and 1 Sefrika (Stormers (likely) or Bulls (maybe)).
