Stan Performance and major fixtures

Hi All, did any of you have trouble getting the 2nd Lions test. We had a get together and all it did was put the circle of death on the screen. We ended up watching in on Ch9.
Is Stan a waste of money for the major events?

I watched the Sky Sport option on Stan and loved the coverage and the more polished and informed commentary team.

I wonder if the Sky Sports option was better. Mine seemed to be very slow, seemed like buffering issues, I checked on my computer which is wire attached to 50Mb NBN and it was cycling as well.

I had no issues at all with the STAN coverage.

This is a worry, I was sure I was not alone.

I had issues with the first test. No matter what settings I tried it was coming through in low quality SD. Got better through the game. By half time no issue - back to HD

Thanks Strewth, my issue was not being able to watch at all, as a circle went round and round and nothing came through.

I would say that was an issue with your internet provider. I'm in rural NSW in a notoriously problematic area with an NBN connection that amplifies the problem and sailed through the game without any connectivity issues at all. Also - if you use a VPN turn it off for local live streams.
