Pretty crazy to get banned for not taking something...

I guess you could say the same for a drug possession charge but this is bizarre as he has not even been investigated by the feds so why the ARU poked there noses in it I’m not sure.

People say a lot of things after they get caught.

If he's not so serious about his rugby, the ban won't matter that much to him. If he is so serious about his rugby, I have substantial doubt it wasn't intended for use.

Either way, for the purpose of general deterrence, punishments such as this do serve a valid purpose. There are no magic "oh, but it was some cold tablets my mum got me" excuses.

You should check what is in supplements and not just blindly think that because a product is commercially available it is safe.
Not because of the roids or other banned stuff, but for general health reasons.

He can get a lawyer and win the appeal 10 to 1 but one got to question him and his intentions. Why did you buy it knowing it is a banned substance?
