Jason was a guy who had a lot of rugby talent, although some punters did refer to him as the "world's best rugby trainer" such were the number of injuries he experienced early in his career.
Although injury prone, there's no doubt he can play - and he is a big unit.
To be honest, I thought he would have headed back to Royals with Eddie to give the JID a shot.
I understand where you are coming from, but my mail says that Eddie has got a room at the lodge in the 'berra already and has been training the house down.I have heard also that until Eddie pulls on a Royals jumper, then take it with a grain of salt.
Not as yet, maybe some of our visitors have something they would like to add.Any other club news??
I am hearing that Jason Lagalli is "just the tip of the ice berg" over at Wagga City. Sounding like the 'revival' was very short lived. I am hearing up to a dozen guys will be leaving. Must be the Mick Small factor.
Id be interested in hearing any coaching news. Ag College advertising at the moment. Not sure if it will be the sought after gig it perhaps once was. I am hearing that between retirements, graduations & players returning to old clubs / home towns they will be a very different looking 1st XV.
Anyone from WAC or City care to confirm or deny??
I have other news, but can not comment until arrangements are official..
Hey Jack01, let's keep it positive mate. Mick Small has been involved with Wagga City for well over a decade and volunteers like that are essential to our game.
Aggies will no doubt be rebuilding next year (and were probably in that stage this year also) but you never know who will show up out at the Uni for CSU or Aggies and both clubs have some good networks around the traps. Aggies did well to secure Richard Turnbull when they did (remember he may have ended up at Waratahs), hopefully they can continue building from here.
Albury will rebuild also, Steve Stone has moved on to greener pastures at Uni-Norths in the 'berra. There would be a host of players pulling the pin and retiring on a high note, Mick Alexander for sure. Will Wal Stuart go round again for the Steamers?
Although it's a long way off, I'm keen to get into the 2014 season!
No worries.Sorry, my mistake. I must not have been clear enough. The Mick Small comment was a positive. These players may be leaving as a result of him not coaching. I don't know.
I heard he has taken on a consultancy role, but haven't had that confirmed by anyone at Uni/Norths.What is Steve Stone doing at the Owls?
Spill the beans son!I did hear a ripper of a rumor that will really add fuel to the CSU V Ag College rivalry. If it becomes fact that is..
A little bit of jumper swapping...
RF - It's been a long time between drinks for you mate! Sounds like we've got similar mail on this one.Wow 2014 season rumour mill is in overdrive. Heard a few rumblings from the tahs camp, straight from the horses mouth so to speak. few new additions with solid reputations and not many if any departures. If they come to fruition they will have a good squad with depth which is a must for successful teams.
This is good to hear and I think more local clubs should be looking into their options overseas. Wagga City have had some good success in recent times, Cootamundra have been networking successfully also, Leeton had some good visitors last year, Albury as well and the Yabbies are getting onto that bandwagon also. If clubs are sensible about this and can recruit in key positions it's a bonus for the competition to have these players coming to our region. On another note I recently attended my best mans wedding in Wales in August, caught up with a few mates who the former steamers coach had tried persuade to come over. His successful year in siru last year was attracting attention there. Good luck to him in Canberra.
Wow, Red to Green or Green to Red?

Perhaps a guy like Tim Corcoran running the backs & Dave Armstrong looking after the forwards??
Who are all these players Tahs are signing? or alleged to have signed?
Has anyone heard who is coaching Coota and Young next year ?- The word is Glover was a 1 year wonder at Coota & has pulled the pin and Luke Eldridge will step down as 1st Grade coach next year at Young
