McCaw said the fate of the rules would probably be decided by referees.

"I think the refs have to be hard on the tackler and making sure he gets away and allows the ball to be played and that's where the Super 14 was good - when they were hard on that.

I also hope the refs will be hard on that especially after Bledisloe 3 at suncorp, were most AB defenders often thought the ball was a cushion on thier lounge at home.

In related news Glenn McGrath has come out hard against sledging in cricket. Whilst the President of the Reserve Bank has complained about high interest rates.

I hope you all aren't suggesting that GOD would actually infringe at the tackle area. Surely not.

I know the refs don't think he does.
