What odds on Gordon vs Easts
Not on tonight's showing - Sydney Uni took Easts 1s Colts to the cleaners.

Easts 1s need to find some wingers who can catch and run - #11 is too small, and #14 couldn't catch (it was very wet though). Easts #10 kicked the ball a way too much also. Easts #15 played very well.

Uni had gas to spare in their backline, and their BackRow were immense - especially their captain and #8.

And both Easts and Gordon lost!

in the top 7 any of them can beat each other on their day

Some big games this weekend
Rats v Gordon has implications across the board, with just 14 points separating the 2 clubs for Colts Club Champs. Whoever wins 1st grade will be top of the table and most likely top of the club Champs.

The rest of the games should be predictable
Uni v Two Blues
Wildfires v Norths
West Harbour v Easts
Manly
v Eastwood
Randwick v Souths

The loser of the Rats v Gordon game may drop as far as 4th or 5th on the table

Well Norths caused an upset beating the Wildfires in the Hunter 37-22. Hopefully there are more unpredictable results in this round and in the comp.

Great to finally to see some upsets!
Eastwood beating Manly would have to have been a 50-1 odds before kick off
As would the Norths upset at Wildfires

Manly beat Rats
then lose comfortably to Easts
then beat Gordon
And lose to Eastwood

Match of the round again includes Rats. Easts v Rats - Easts too strong at home
Gordon v Souths - Expect Gordon to bounce back from 2 losses on the trot against a difficult Souths
Two Blues v Eastwood - An improving Eastwood will be too strong for a side still looking for their first win
West Harbour v Wildfires - Wildfires will be smarting from their loss last week which puts them in a difficult spot in 8th and at risk of losing touch with the top 6.
Norths v Uni - Despite a good showing last week, Norths will struggle to match with Sydney Uni, who need a win to stay comfortable in the top 6
Randwick v Manly - Close to match of the round. Randwick will be too strong at home after some yo-yo performances from Manly. Loser of this game will drop to 6 and will be in touching distance of Eastwood in 7th.

Big round - the Table will be interesting after this round

"Match of the round again includes Rats. Easts v Rats - Easts too strong at home"

Not so - Warringah too strong for Easts 1s Colts - a high scoring win for Rats 48 to 38. Easts started well, and the young Brial scored early. Rats #9, #13 and #14 very strong.

Easts 1s need to strengthen their edges - #11 and #12 poor today.

Easts Colts 2s easily beaten on Friday and Easts Colts 3s almost snatched a 1 point victory from the jaws of defeat with a 22 point cameo from their #14.

Yep a young Rats team has shown they are the real deal.
Their back row, full back and scrum were excellent today.
Easts stars unfortunately don't look like a team

Big Round coming up
Eastwood v Sydney Uni: Can Eastwood continue their recent good form, or will Uni bring them back down to earth?
Rats v Norths: Rats sitting clear on top should be too strong at home against Norths
Manly v Wildfires: Manly have had a bad month, and Wildfires, after a good start to the season, are also starting to lose touch. Both teams badly need the win. Every round needs an upset and this round, Wildfires for the upset.
Two Blues v Randwick: Randwick will be too strong
Souths v West Harbour: Souths have looked good for patches in most of their games, just unable to maintain for 80 minutes. Should be too good for West Harbour.
Easts v Gordon - Match of the round. Easts at home looking to bounce back after the loss to Rats. But it could go either way.

Easts vs Gordon is at Chatswood Oval so Gordon may have home field advantage for this one. Should be good regardless.
