Blue, where's the Positivity Gnome now. So he was not the off loading wrecking ball England hoped him to be. This was more from your Boyo's playing all over him. A truly inspired effort from the back row and inside backs. He'll get another go I reckon.

Keeping the gnome bound and gagged until after Fiji. Or if you want I'll send him round to yours'? Burgess is a great footballer but as someone mentioned above he doesn't pass well. He cant kick and his defence is a bit all over the place. More I think of it the more he was victim of some pretty mindless team tactics

Thank you for offering the Gnome, we have Wally to help us get through. Interesting matchup that one, the Positivity Gnome v Wally.

Like the Blossoms and the Boks, I'll watch this match over and over. My wife is English and whenever they play any sport I just cannot bring myself to support them. It was sweet this morning seeing Wills wearing red and the Welsh win.

Just been thinking through how England will change in the light of that disaster and whether they are capable of doing it before they play Australia. Not sure ther is a plan B in Lancasters book of tactics

He was. With that family name Scots missed him
Very happy with Russell thanks. I praise jebus everyday that Allen chose to commit to the Italians, since Finn would likely have missed out on the June tour last year and we'd be in a lot worse of a position.

As much as I like to see England lose, I don't think this result is all that favourable for Aus, unless they win all their games of course. Wales will be struggling for fit bodies, but will still be a tough ask to beat, but England will be absolutely frothing now. From a self-interested point of view, I think Aus would have been better served by an England win, although I feel dirty saying that.

This makes the England match a must-win, basically.

You can put us and England on 9 and 11 points as both will earn a bp against Uruguay.

Wales will get to 13 at least and maybe 15 depending on bp earned against Fiji and us.

We will have a hard time getting to 15 if we lose to England.

We will know more after Wales play Fiji, obviously.

WHAT A GAME!

Gezz both back 3 players were superb. Amos and the Welsh 15 were dangerous players, it will be a cruel result if both remain injured. I honestly don't think our back 3 could out-play these guys especially if it's Horne and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), who are solid without being too threatening.

My first thoughts were actually at how fast paced the game was. Really exciting stuff to watch and really worrying stuff for next week.

I really hope Douglas and Simmons will cope with the pace of the game. Slipper will be a huge loss if he isn't 100% and Sio is much needed to start to compete with England's scrum. Moore better step up too if he plays like he did against Fiji it won't be good enough.

Foley better be able to kick his goals too as this will be the difference. I don't think either England or Wales missed a kick.

Either way next week is going to be epic.

just watched third orc penalty again. Australia are gonna have to have words with ref before Mahler is allowed to pack at that angle again. Garces needs to do better at scrum time

Mahler bores in at 45 degress in almost every scrum - it was the general cause of the scrums twisting rather than Wales pulling back as alleged. Generally a good game from Garces, but agree he needs to improve.

Poite was on the loosed head side of the England scrum, I suppose it's too much to hope that he noticed it in preparation for this week. Anyway, someone in camp Wallaby needs to bring it to his attention pre match.

An epic victory for Wales. I think that England will be scratching their heads, trying to work out how they lost it. They pretty much controlled the match for long periods and I'd have thought that (other than the final score of course) the game was played in the style that England wanted. Can't really see where England are going to go from here.

I have to admire the way the Welsh hung in, despite injuries and problems at scrum time. A thoroughly deserved victory and England are now tantalisingly close to missing a quarter final spot.;)
