RWC 2019 Japan vs Samoa

Must admit I thought TNW would carve it up against these sorts of teams. Seems not to be as quick on his feet as he once was, Matsushima has a yard of pace on him.

Poor Scotland. You've got to think Ireland and Japan are through.. who will top the group though.

Do you think his approach with Japan would translate to the Aussie culture? They just looked so discipline. I wonder if culturally we could play that way?

you mean the culture of a strong work ethic, self-discipline and executing basic skills well?

Nah, that probably wouldn't translate to the Aussie culture..

If Scotland beat Russia with a bonus point, and then beat Japan by more than 7 points both teams will finish on 14............

But Scotland will go through to the quarters as winner of that match.

So, for Japan to go through they will at least need one competition point against Scotland, assuming Scotland pick up the BP win against Russia.

Be interesting what tv viewership figures in japan will be for Scotland
Match as after Japan’s win over SA in last World Cup they got something like 20m tuning in for a following key pool game
