Round nine and we remain undefeated. What a good feeling :)

After coming off a win against the Stars the boys from the bush will be keen to take a high profile scale to end the season on a high note. The Rising will be looking to ensure the heading to the finals with good momentum.

Rising could possibly lose engo and jonesey to Wallaby commitment (a good thing) and Veianu is out for the remainder of the NRC season with a dodgy hand. This could be a real test of our depth.

No matchday preview yet, will be posted when available.

I'll be there with bells on, then i'll be screaming off to the nearest pub/TV to watch the Wallabies....er..win? (glass half full guy).

Usual deal at the Rising match; kids under 12 free, think the two for one is still going and with an earlier start they may even serve decent Beer. E can only hope.

Rising by 10.

Did you see the 7s Kevin? Was a decent day out there I thought, however the teams like Tribe, Red Rock, Daveata and Auckland will be the main contenders this weekend.

You'd hope they rest all the potential Wallabies to get the others some game time in case they're needed.

I didn't get out there, wanted to but had to help my sister move house and than had a house warming at a friends place. Heard the semi was a great finish, side line conversion to win.

Hope Powerhouse can do well, the prize money will help the new clubhouse fund just nicely. But agree that they should be outclassed in this one.

Stupid decision, should've given all the club players game time in a dead rubber. Now what happens when half your team is missing in the finals.

Two late changes to the rising side; Lloyd and Pom to start, Jonsey and Tom to the bench. Mitch to OC to accommodate Lloyd.

Players also wearing club socks this weekend. Can someone give Jonah a nice clean pair of Box Hill socks please :)

Just a little bit greedy there OT.

Ben, Jonah and Sefa in one side would carve up next year, without even accounting for the other boys!

I wonder if this means Jones and Engo won't be available for the finals?

The reason given was they had been in the Wobs squad all week, therefore hadn't trained in their positions. Makes sense.
