Yeah- you'd have to think if Kuridrani is the favourite for 13, Stewart has to be the best option for 12. I'd argue in better form than Matt To'omua (who admittedly might be seen as more of a 10).

Really enjoyed this game. Well done Red's on a good win. You had me worried in that first 20mins or so.

For mine, Wilson was like 13 of the other Reds (basically everyone except Wright) - struggled/made some mistakes in the first 20 then got his act together.

Edit: and one that he dropped he got tackled as/before the ball got to him.

Too true and should have been a penalty to the Reds. I think, though, that the Bulls went on to score one of their tries from this miss by the officials.

While I’m on a roll praising people, how good is Hamish Stewart playing? We could have been done and dusted by half time if he hadn’t shut a couple of attacks down.

Had a horror start, but improved as the game went on. Missed a one-on-one tackle and fell off another allowing the ball carrier to continue to make progress, both in the first five minutes of the game. Then at about 8 minutes, came in off his man in defense leaving Hegarty to face two attacking players on his own.

Not yet near a national spot.

He actually missed a few tackles early, but was very good again.

Lock for Wallabies 12 in my opinion.

But lets belt the Brumbies at Suncorp first.

Turn it up, Simone is a dud and a Kiwi.

I think Simone has shown more, last season and this, than Stewart.

Still i suspect it'll end up being 10. To'omua 12. JOC (James O'Connor) or the reverse.

I'd be very happy with reverse. JOC (James O'Connor) is a revelation at 10 in his third coming. He's underplaying his hand & controlling the game. Plus To'omua has always been at his best in 12.

Yeah, at this stage I don't see Stewart making the Wallabies...........

On form it's Simone, and on experience it's either To'omua or JOC (James O'Connor)......... probably JOC (James O'Connor), as To'omua has been more impressive at 10.

At flyhallf? Lolesio and To'omua....

Lolesio definitely has a bright future, but I'd be thinking bench at best for RC or Euro tour. I just see To'omua as a pure 12, outside JOC (James O'Connor) I think outstanding. All pending a pandemic of course.

For me, To'omua has been the better performing 10, and looked good in his bench cameos during the RWC..........

I have yet to see JOC (James O'Connor) play a decent game at 10 that wasn't against the Sunwolves, and his performance against the Sharks put forward some questions about his ability to play first receiver.

That was a fantastic performance from the Reds tonight. They showed some real ticker when under the pump. When they get that offload game going in the loose they're going to be hard to stop. I thought the defence really manned up when needed too. Several young blokes putting their hands up for selection in the Wallaby squad for mine: Wilson and McDermott, to name a couple.
