Real changes needed in Rebel land. starting with Huxley to 15 or preferably the bench. Kingi to start at 10 perhaps if Cips not available.

Saffy in a very competitive position, unfortunately. Despite his good season, hard to see him in front of Pocock, Brown, McCalman, Hodgson, Palu, Mowen, Higginbotham, Beau Robinson, Samo, Elsom, Chapman in the backrow pecking order.

I think Phipps has been the find of the year, despite him being on the Wallaby tour last year. He franked his Shute Shield form more often than not. For the internationals though, I still think Burgess has a major impact from the bench in defence and attack. Just so physical for a 9.

Copying the same methodology....

3 Saffy,
2 Pyle,
1 Gerrard

Saffy is great player, and works so well in Combo with Lipman and Delve. A top notch back row, but they were upstaged by Burger singlehandedly...

Pyle will probably miss out on the RWC unfortunately - too many ahead of him, Big Kev, Sharpe, Mumm, Douglas, Chisolm (if fit), Vickerman (if in country). I daresay he, and Wykes will be in the long term plan.

Gerrard is having a stellar return to Super Rugby, It's just a pity he has so many niggles. He rarely runs a game out, usually cramp, or a calf issue of some kind gets the better of him between 55 and 70mins.

Word has is Cipriani will be back next week for the Brumbs match. Starting or otherwise I'm not sure... They have missed his attacking flair, and even with the Centres defensively minded (Hux, Warlock, Gerrardio) they still leaked 5 tries, to a team that has only scored 20 in the 15 weeks prior...
