Queensland Reds 2025

i missed the first 20, but from what I saw looked like a quick, game..

Dre and Frankie ran it hard into collision quite frequently, were met by a forward on most occasions.. might want to choose those lines a bit better in the future :p

I was impressed by Aubrey, he showed a lot on attack I thought, definitely lifted his involvement and work rates since previous games for the Reds

I thought Aubrey looked very sharp in the game today. Bounced out of a few tackles and showed good speed.

Still has a few in front of him I suspect but given he’s only 21 hopefully he can start really pressing for a spot this year.

Yeah I was surprised at how strong he's become in contact. He's certainly put some size onto his frame, so the gym time has paid off for him. Agree with it being a bit early for him but these tours will benefit guys like him the most!

Werchon is talent. The speed of the attack has gone through the roof since he came on. Directing his team well.
IMO he's better than Kalani. More threatening to the defence at least.

Kalani is a dummy half type 9. Safe but never going to be a focal point. Having said that he had some very good games towards the back end of last year for the Reds.

Can take guys like him a few more years to naturally get the strength and grown man size. Could be a good thing when you maintain the speed and elusiveness because your body hasn't been lumped with 10kg on a 18yr old frame not ready for it.

Smith over Canham or at least Blyth for me. Flook at 13 daugunu on the wing and anderson at 23

We need more work horse players in attack with our more dynamic back row hence smith.

Flook is a gun defender and can't cover fullback, he'll plug any holes Ryan or Daugunu might have in them being better attacking then defending players.

Phillipo was the wallabies best when he was playing on the wing - make his job simple

Anderson has a lot more versatility and hasn't massively impressed IMO
