Good chance before the run home to give some guys a bit of a rest. The overall 23 is still as strong as it could be given fitness. Doesn't seem like anyone's been left in Brisbane.

The Reds run home isn't a gauntlet so a win here does give an outside chance of the top 2 finish with a couple results going their way. Unlikely but a chance and one worth taking I think.

Top 4 can really separate themselves this week.

Where does Werchon sit in most peoples opinions?

Haven’t seen much of him but when he’s got a chance seems handy at a young age. Kalani has been great this year so but off contract and Werchon signed through 26…

We know the Force are looking and I reckon the Brums might be looking for a no.2 with Thorn and Goddard not signed past this year.

I reckon 2 of Thomas, Werchon, Wilson (Tahs) will be on the move.

I guess the question will be can Werchon make the team? I don't see any reason for Kalani to be dropped so barring either Kalani or Tate being unavailable I cant see him getting a run.

Absolutely no reason to drop Kalani on his current form and any good side should have 2 decent 9s.

I just wonder how they all fit and they may want to stay but I expect Kalani will get very healthy offers. In regard to Werchons contract I would think it’s all that much so could be worth just keeping as Tate may leave post WC… other option would be selling him and you may have to chip in a portion but wouldn’t be much. Teams may be less keen as he hasn’t shown enough to be a starter if you’re the Force.

Just an interesting position to be in. Has Louis been good in Club footy?

Hasn’t played many games. I believe he’s been travelling and warming up with the Reds.

I don’t reckon Wilson will leave the tahs mate. Would have to be for crazy money imo. He’s deffs the future but he’s still what, 21? Surely tahs ain’t dumb enough to fudge that one!
I’d say Thomas would be demanding more money than the reds are willing to pay. Which is holding things up. Werchon probably didn’t cost them the world and he’s quite handy. It would take Tate to go on sabbatical for Thomas to stay on. Martens from the U20s looks very good so they probably know they have the depth coming.
Makes sense for Thomas to go to the force and play the lead half over there.

With Tate being young and signed it’s just an Intresting moment for the position around Aus which suddenly has decent depth.

18s through 20s have good ones coming through as well with Sharples, Martens and Grover (18s) not his brother in the 20s.
