Jeez suprised Sione Fukofuka is still there. A lot of players haven't been liking his work. Onwards and upwards though, especially with their colts intake for 2019.

Crikey, Anderson gone from Bond after a marked improvement from wooden spoon to just missing finals! Anderson also got promoted to the top role after a belated resignation from Adrian Thomson, sighting workload, which makes Anderson's efforts all the more commendable, given his delayed appointment. Harris would be a good gain for them but they still need to sort their recruitment. If the rumours are true re player taking banned substances, then there will be more preseason drama for Bond to deal with before a footy has even been kicked. Bond in for a world of hurt in 2019.

Never thought I would see Gabbett leave the Filth.

Scott Gale is a gun - the Reds could/should have got more out of him.

I think he is overrated.

He is on par with McDermott, Tuttle, Sorovi from an attacking halfback standpoint but after watching him in all televised NRC city games I could watch you could see how much of a liability he is in in defense.

I couldn't help but notice a very handy inclusion for UQ 7's team this weekend in Zac Santo. Is this an indication of a signing for UQ for 2019? If so that would be a huge addition to the red heavies after losing Con Foley and Jock Campbell. Can anyone confirm this?

Zac Santo is a 24/25 year old fullback from the NRL. Has played probalby 5 or 6 games across a couple of clubs and has always dominated QLD cup and just been on the borderline of selection. Not a huge guy, probably under 6ft but I'd say he's more likely trying to follow the 7's path more than playing for UQ.

He probably would've had a contract of some sort among clubs at least in NRL or Super League so if in fact he is going to play for UQ, either a huge get or a huge pay packet (for club rugby)

Hearing some off season player movements:

Angsta Sae from Sunnybank to Brothers
Tuaina Tualima from Sunnybank to GPS
Rhys Van Nek from Souths to Easts
Sean Farrell from UQ to Souths

Hearing some rumours that Luke Oxford may no longer be the head coach at Norths and instead it will be none other than Chris Latham. Not sure how accurate the intel is but interesting if the mail is on the money.

Great scoop crusher and great score Norths

Latham has been wetting his beak into coaching lately. He was involved most recently with Samoa as a backs coach in their RWC qualifying matches against Germany.

Would be disappointing for the bulldogs if true. Latham would be great to have as an ex-player of the club.
