Position?Young Sua at GT - another year stronger - is one I’m very much looking forward to seeing.
Add Rob Toia NC to that list.Just a few players I expect to make an impact this year after playing First XV last season.
Marcarius Pereira - Prop - NC
PJ Su'a - 8 - GT
Dre Pakeho - Inside Centre - Churchie
Blake Ruaporo - Outside Centre - TSS
Delacruz Ripley - Wing - BBC
Toshi Butlin - Wing - State High
Stanley Huen - Centre - IGS
Charlie McCauley - 8 - BGS
Wihan Kruger - Flyhalf - TGS
There are other players but not sure if they were in Year 12 last year or if they are returning for this year
very much agreedAdd Rob Toia NC to that list.
add Ollie Thorton and Gus Rossel from NC to that list matevery much agreed
Wasn't sure if he was returning to NC this year or finishing off school in Sydney with the Roosters after seeing him training there over the holidays, if he is then I will back Nudgee to go undefeated again. He was almost unstoppable last year and will be on another level this year after doing a preseason with the Roosters squadAdd Rob Toia NC to that list.

Pretty sure that’s a fact. Heard they were considered him at 12 too. Big ball runner in the midfield would give them go forward, probably won’t happen though.Heard during the week that PJ Sua did his ACL playing 7’s around October last year. Might struggle to be ready in time for this season. He is only in year 11, so still another chance if not this year.
Definitely agree Nudgee will be deserved favourites to go back to back especially if Toia is playing. However, I believe the dark horse of this years competition will be Gregory Terrace. Youngest team in the competition last year with 10 of the 15 starters returning this year, I expect the likes of Xavier Stiles, Angus Munn and Archie Xavier to really stand up this year. One player to keep and eye on this year will be Will Balke, I believe played inside centre in the last three games of the competition last year but will likely move to 10 this year as I believe it is his preferred position. Was offered a position at Terrace in grade 10 and unfortunately has been playing out of position since starting at Terrace. If he is to play 10 I could easily see the Xavier Balke 9-10 combo being among the best halves combinations in the comp.Nudgee is looking very strong this year and will be extremely hard to beat. My nephew graduated there last year and watching the talent they have coming through the program is very scary for the GPS. The premiership will be decided in round 3 when Churchie take on Nudgee. Liam Leblanc (Number 8 2021) and Robert Toia (Centre 2021) are too scary names that I'm sure we will see on TV in the future. Another name to look out for this year is J. Harley. Didn't see him throughout the season last year (Injured I think). Played second row in the TSS trial for Nudgee and boy the kid can play.
