of 14 pages of sport, 1 page golf/basketball, 2 pages Cricket (with minor Netball and motorsport stories), 2 pages Diveball, 1 page Mungoball test, 1 page Mungoball other, 4 pages RWC, 1 page Caufield cup, 1 page Danny Weidler gossip, back page Kurtailed photo and Manly mungoball.

Not sure how many converts will have come across as a result of last nights game.

Just got back from Spring cycle ride where they gave us copies of the smellygraph. The paper had at least two articles on QC (Quade Cooper) vs SBW (whom we know is not playing) and amongst 4 or 5 pages of meaningless drivel, absolutely zero inches dedicated to last night's game NONE. My point re: the refs decision is that rugby lost out big time. Down amongst the league viewing masses, they thought it was a typical game of rugby- boring kickfest. It's a real shame, cos as we ave discussed here, up to then it hadn;t been like that.

just had a E-mail from my brother who lives in Hamburg,the Wales v Frogs was shown live on German TV

And this is from a country thats aiming to have a team in the RWC two whole RWC's down the track, good on the Germans that they understand this is a big sporting event even if it doesnt yet involve them in it, shits all over the FTA attempts here in Oz.

On FTA it did, however, when you take into account PayTV ratings alongside the FTA. Rugby comes out on top by about 100,000 viewers.

Also it was Bathurst which goes for about 9 hrs or something so depends how they took the ratings too.
