Palu's best performance for Oz?

Probably his best since the RWC Pool game v Wales 2 years ago. On the negative side his habit of turning over the ball in the tackle prevailed and once, if not twice, he surrendered trying a low percantage pass. Incidentally - otherwise the Wallabies were admirable in not pushing the pass.

However his work rate and hard hits on defence more than made up for his couple of turnover lapses. His effort demonstrated the value of having a big bruiser at 8.

I think it's good he tried to offload. Oz haven't pushed the pass enough this year IMO. Have a crack I say.

I was at that game in 07...he was good that day alright but I thought this was more dominant.

definetly a fantastic performance by palu, he was fantastic in both defence and attack

if he caught the ball once or twice more i'd say yes, turning it over that close to the line is not really good enough.
other then that tops :)

Great to see Cliffy living up to his potential. His physicality makes a huge difference out there.

We must remember that Palu & Ioane have played very little test rugby this season so they can be excused for a few fumbles in contact

Palu get's over the advantage line which is what we've been missing all year he sure adds a lot of punch.

He only dropped two. Once trying to get an offload through about 27 English tacklers and once mopping up sloppy lineout ball. Also, his hit on Croft made me so happy I weed just a little bit.

He's absolutely fucking critical for this team. We have no other guaranteed gainline breaker in the pack. He's also becoming more destructive on their ruck ball, which is excellent.

Would love to see him fit enough to last the 80, rather than Smith do a poor imitation.
