Here is a rough teamlist for the Joeys 1st XV that my son's friend from Joeys told him about:

Pretty good effort, however,

I would have Leo Obeid (Rabbitohs) over Liam Burnicle (J), and I would probably have Charlie Humphreys (J) over Mackinely Dooley (J); nothing personal, and I don't know either well, but from the games I've watched, I would say Charlie Humphreys is a more versatile second rower who has a better work ethic. Furthermore, Jock Kennedy-Green could be a good addition coming back from his training in Antarctica with Pat Smith over Cameron Stucky.

One last touch-up; not sure why Ethan Hunt (J) hasn't been included at 10. He has exceptional passing and kicking skills, with the ability to accurately distribute the ball to teammates. He also has excellent mobility and agility, enabling his team to evade opponents and create space for fast players like Kynan Hart (J) and Lachlan Cox (J).

Wouldn't be suprised to see Paul Sivoden (S) come back to coach a school as well-rounded as theirs or if Joeys see an upset this year from TMG.

Harry’s a staunch loyalist, and it’s clear that rugby runs through his veins like a well-timed pass. Here’s to hoping he keeps fending off those league advances and stays where he truly belongs!

Hamish Burnicle (J) had a great end to the 2024 season with a stellar performance for the u16 barbarians in the pasifika youth cup. Look out for Burnicle in the Joeys 1st xv next year.

Hey Gents,

New season, decided to add a profile picture to give myself some personality eh?

Can see there's been a fair share of tomfoolery on this thread already. Have returned from my travels abroad and find myself getting excited for season 2025.

I hope not to miss much of the season but, alas, I am still a young man and it seems I will be studying overseas next year. If I can get to old boys' day at Northbridge, I'll consider that a great success!
